Well, this here's the story of a firm named BP, that liked setting fire to turtles you see, and poisoning the oceans with a bubbling crude "“ when suddenly its partners developed a "˜tude.

BP is doing everything possible to escape liability in the biggest environmental disaster in recent memory "“ including trying to foot their partners with bills, shutting off access to the media, not allowing reporting in the tents that are treating sick oil workers, dumping sand on the beaches to cover up whatever has washed ashore, and of course "“ setting fire to sea turtles. The only way they could be more hated is if they decided to sporadically drown puppies at 15-minute intervals, and videotape it and put them on YouTube.

But their partners aren't appreciative of BP's shenanigans, and are turning down their efforts to bill them for spurious clean-up charges. A spokesman from BP said that MOEX Offshore 2007 LLC has turned down a 111 million clean-up bill that BP tried to smack them over the head with. The other minority owner of the gulf well, Andarko Petroleum Corp., refused a 272 million dollar bill from BP last month
